Nothing better than a moonlight walk the youngest ❤️
Mini adventure
So today we decided that we would stay fairly local when exploring. After getting in the car and picking a direction we ended up in Whitstable.
We were on a mission to get some food having skipped breakfast and we reached The Lobster Shack. With a fabulous menu it was a hard choice they even had a BBQ outside with freshly barbecued fish if you wished. As it was a beautiful day we opted to sit outside; both inside and outside were busy but there were still lots tables available with people coming and going frequently. The service was extremely fast and there was a good system for ordering food and drinks.
Already planning another visit with my brother and sister in law when they are next visiting Kent.
To let our food go down we walked along the Tankerton Slopes and back, this is an easy gentle walk on the flat so accessible for everyone. Sometimes the unplanned things are the best.

Another road trip?
I think it might be time for another road trip adventure😁
Summer Holidays
One more day before I can just enjoy being with my family for a while 💙

Road Trip
Last night we decided to wake up early and go on a road trip for the day to Lulworth Cove in Dorset.
It has been on my list for a long time and I can honestly say I wish we had visited sooner. It’s truly beautiful, a cute British gem by the sea and today it has felt like we were somewhere abroad.
We left in the early hours of the morning to arrive early for parking. We were stuck in traffic for a while on the motorway but when we arrived there was still lots of parking. You are able to pay for parking by cash or card and there were lots of machines to use. There was also a steady flow of cars coming and going so I would say parking should be ok throughout the day.
With a bonus that you can also walk to Durdle Door the natural limestone arch a little further alone the Jurassic Coastline, approximately 1 mile.
We will be going back to explore further again soon.

Camden Town
Whilst I am a country girl I also love to explore the capital city here in England. Such a beautiful city steeped in history.
Camden has fabulous street food and the famous Camden Market. I will be back to report more on this fabulous part of London.

Wildflowers
I love to walk amongst the wildflowers and watch the butterflies dance🦋
