A simple thank you

Today on International Woman’s Day I would like to thank everyone of you that has supported me, you may not think you have but every single one of you has in some way effected my life for the better and I cannot thank you enough for that. Never forget that small acts can sometimes be the most powerful.

Explore and enjoy the experience to make unforgettable memories

Love is holding on to the memories only the heart can see. 💙
I can remember so much of our road trips, from working out what budget I had to play with to planning what we could do when we got there. I will never change that, making memories so we can remember with laughter when things didn’t go so right or when we ordered food that we didn’t really know what it was or the stunning scenery and so much more. My heart hurts so much that I now don’t have the other half of me but I have the wonderful children to continue to explore the world with. 🌍 We have some great trips planned so I’m hoping that most of them can go ahead with the ever changing world around us.

Chinese New Year – The Year of the Tiger

Lasting up to 16 days with the first 7 considered being public holidays (January 31st – February 6th 2022) the Chinese New Year follows the Lunar Calendar. New Year celebrations close with the lantern festival on February 15th celebrating family reunions and society.

2022 is the Year of the Tiger the third animal in the 12 year cycle of animals in Chinese astrology. Tigers are said to be vigorous and ambitious, daring and courageous, enthusiastic and generous, self-confident with a sense of justice and a commitment to help others for the greater good.

Every Chinese New Year is one of five elements, water, wood, Fire, Earth and Meatal with 2022 year being water.

Now it’s time to move into the year of the Water Tiger….

Moving into Autumn

As the sun sets on today tomorrow will bring the start of autumn. 🍂🍁🥮

Interesting fact: The astronomical calendar determines the seasons due to the 23.5 degrees of tilt of the Earth’s rotational axis in relation to its orbit around the Sun. Against that of the meteorological seasons that consist of splitting the seasons into four periods made up of three months each. By the meteorological calendar, the first day of autumn is always 1 September; ending on 30 November. The astronomical autumn calendar starts Wednesday, the 22nd September and ends Tuesday, the 21st December. 🥮🍂🍁

Anxiety

At some point most of us have been anxious, from going to an interview, heading up an important meeting, having a baby, starting a new school……

Some anxiety escalates and becomes so intense that it stops people from doing things.

Anxiety is natural response our body has and we learn how to control the extent it takes hold of us.

Being You

I don’t want other people deciding who I am.

I want to decide that for myself.

Acceptance

It’s mental health awareness week and I am sharing some tips to help everyone with their mental health. Remember we all have mental health and we all have to keep it healthy. 💛

Accept

That you will never be perfect,

life will always have challenges,

and other people will

disappoint you sometimes.

Acceptance is the first step toward peace.

It’s not always glamorous

This was the most dressed up I got all weekend as between the friends birthday celebrations I have; painted the hall way at my Dad’s, cleaned the house, done the ironing, cooked lots of food, been tidying in the garden and more – all in really stuffy clothes. So it was so lovely to to get dressed up and go out n’ drink way too much then get a taxi home 😂🤪😁

Your health

There is nothing better than walking into the sunset 🧡 Today has been a day of sitting and working at my laptop. So this evening the need to get outside not only for my physical health but my mental health was an absolute must. And the bonus of the husband, one son + fish and chips made it perfect.
