Workers

‘And though she be but little, she is fierce’. – Shakespeare

I often feel like this small in a big world. In my work place so many people thinking that their role is more important than another’s. This could not be more wrong. It takes many things to succeed, often with one selfless person bringing them together not caring if they get the recognition. Because if it can make positive change what does it matter they will always know in their heart what they have done.

Sunday Stroll

Here I have stood and here I shall still stand.

On my evening walk I came across this amazing tree. It has seen so many things that it cannot tell. It has fought through many weather conditions. And yet it still stands.

We face many things during our lifetime and often we forget how far we have come.

Bedgebury Pinetum

Walking through the weekend…

Bedgebury Pinetum is a great place to take the family. There are paths for all abilities and you can walk or cycle.

With over 12,000 trees it’s a wonderful place to explore.

Parking is plentiful and is a set daily rate, although there is an early bird rate if you arrive early and leave before 11am.

You can hire bikes, walk the tree tops at Go Ape, find the Gruffalo sculptures, play on the play park equipment and more.

You can take your own picnic to enjoy or visit the onsite cafe.

Samphire Hoe

It was a little misty out today.

Samphire Hoe is at the foot of the cliffs between Dover and Folkestone. It is ideal for a short walk for many abilities as there is a wheelchair and pushchair friendly path.

There is a small tea Kiosk serving a variety of snacks and drinks.

The car park is pay and display but is not expensive.

Today the views were limited but still beautiful, on a clear day you can see France.
