Then v Now

Past times exploring has given me so many special memories, this one seems so apt right now too far for me to reach and hold you my darling husband.

The children and I have grand plans for our lives and hold you in every thought.

St Michael’s Mount had been on our list for so long and so glad that we made it. With something a little special planned soon tied in with this beautiful place.

Then…

Now…

Explore and enjoy the experience to make unforgettable memories

Love is holding on to the memories only the heart can see. 💙
I can remember so much of our road trips, from working out what budget I had to play with to planning what we could do when we got there. I will never change that, making memories so we can remember with laughter when things didn’t go so right or when we ordered food that we didn’t really know what it was or the stunning scenery and so much more. My heart hurts so much that I now don’t have the other half of me but I have the wonderful children to continue to explore the world with. 🌍 We have some great trips planned so I’m hoping that most of them can go ahead with the ever changing world around us.

Traveling in 2022

When traveling currently you should:

✅ Check covid rules before, during and after travel
✅ Complete passenger locator forms
✅ Ensure you respect the country you’re in and their rules and people
✅ Make sure you know your rough plans if someone got covid or if restrictions changed quickly
✅ Read your travel insurance (I honestly would never recommend going anywhere abroad without it). My life would have been so awful if I hadn’t had it when we went to Venice. You should always be prepared to pay for it if your prepared to pay for a holiday.

Experience Kent, England

I am currently in the process of designing, planning, collaborating and training to launch my very own experiences in Kent. Looking to provide unforgettable adventures in my very own home county. Over the coming weeks I will start to share information before my official launch. Thank you @kent_downs_aonb @visitkent for you support in making this happen.

Ancient Woodland

Next time you walk into the woods spend a little time looking at the magic they create.

Ancient woods are areas of woodland that have persisted since 1600 in England and Wales, and 1750 in Scotland.

They are relatively undisturbed by human development. As a result, they are unique and complex communities of plants, fungi, insects and other microorganisms.

How do I know if I’m exploring an ancient woodland? Look out for indicator species these include the commonly know bluebells, primroses and wood anemones or the less commonly known scaly male fern or hazel gloves fungus.

It’s not always glamorous

This was the most dressed up I got all weekend as between the friends birthday celebrations I have; painted the hall way at my Dad’s, cleaned the house, done the ironing, cooked lots of food, been tidying in the garden and more – all in really stuffy clothes. So it was so lovely to to get dressed up and go out n’ drink way too much then get a taxi home 😂🤪😁

Your health

There is nothing better than walking into the sunset 🧡 Today has been a day of sitting and working at my laptop. So this evening the need to get outside not only for my physical health but my mental health was an absolute must. And the bonus of the husband, one son + fish and chips made it perfect.
