Then v Now

Past times exploring has given me so many special memories, this one seems so apt right now too far for me to reach and hold you my darling husband.

The children and I have grand plans for our lives and hold you in every thought.

St Michael’s Mount had been on our list for so long and so glad that we made it. With something a little special planned soon tied in with this beautiful place.

Then…

Now…

Chinese New Year – The Year of the Tiger

Lasting up to 16 days with the first 7 considered being public holidays (January 31st – February 6th 2022) the Chinese New Year follows the Lunar Calendar. New Year celebrations close with the lantern festival on February 15th celebrating family reunions and society.

2022 is the Year of the Tiger the third animal in the 12 year cycle of animals in Chinese astrology. Tigers are said to be vigorous and ambitious, daring and courageous, enthusiastic and generous, self-confident with a sense of justice and a commitment to help others for the greater good.

Every Chinese New Year is one of five elements, water, wood, Fire, Earth and Meatal with 2022 year being water.

Now it’s time to move into the year of the Water Tiger….

Experience Kent, England

I am currently in the process of designing, planning, collaborating and training to launch my very own experiences in Kent. Looking to provide unforgettable adventures in my very own home county. Over the coming weeks I will start to share information before my official launch. Thank you @kent_downs_aonb @visitkent for you support in making this happen.

It’s not always glamorous

This was the most dressed up I got all weekend as between the friends birthday celebrations I have; painted the hall way at my Dad’s, cleaned the house, done the ironing, cooked lots of food, been tidying in the garden and more – all in really stuffy clothes. So it was so lovely to to get dressed up and go out n’ drink way too much then get a taxi home 😂🤪😁

Your health

There is nothing better than walking into the sunset 🧡 Today has been a day of sitting and working at my laptop. So this evening the need to get outside not only for my physical health but my mental health was an absolute must. And the bonus of the husband, one son + fish and chips made it perfect.

Keeping busy

It’s been a busy work day but coming back to walk along this beautiful beach makes it worth it.

I have clocked up 550 miles in the last 24 hours and 300 more on the way tomorrow, but it has been worth it. Over the next year I will be making a few of these trips for a specific project all working to improve the health and social care sector in relation to medicines. Working to make positive effective change, going to be a challenging but rewarding project.

And this walk is everything after a long day 🧡
