Life is a journey, treasure it…..
When I am working I always try to grab a little bit of time outside walking, taking in the day. My mind gets the space that it needs to and I stumble upon some beautiful places.

On #internationalwomensday I celebrate all the women in my life and to all the unsung women that achieve so very much but go unnoticed. I encourage everyone no matter their gender to work for their dreams, never believe that one job is superior to another and to remember it’s everyone working together that will make the most successful place to be. #women #equality #together #we’vegottgis #yougotthis #homelife #worklife
Getting ready – quite often in my day job I come across people who block the system, who are negative, are scared of working together, of showing weakness and quite often think they know the answer to everything. And every day I get up do my day job to try and show others that you can make change, that you can work through problems, you don’t have to let others stop you from achieving and that YOU matter.
Getting outside, letting my brain relax and enjoying the beautiful countryside. I lent against a tree and watched the sunset. Simple but Perfect.
I cannot explain just how watching the sunset has given me so much energy. I have felt very drained and tired over the past few weeks but getting outside this evening proved a real winner. It’s amazing how something so simple can do so much for our body and soul.

Sunset from the roof top this evening.
It’s been a mad half term week with my boys, back to normality of work and school tomorrow.
💛 Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows not just for one day but every day ❤️ #valentines #justsaying
I wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in the Sky but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name on my heart and there it will stay forever.

‘Spend a little more time trying to make something of yourself and a little less time trying to impress people.’ – The Breakfast Club –
I love Instagram and I use it for inspiration, for my mental health and as a record.
1. Inspiration – I love to see other people’s adventures, where they are exploring and what others are up to. I try my best not to feel like I am missing out but to look at what I could do or where I could get to.
2. Mental Health – trying to make myself understand and realise that it’s ok to be sad, it’s ok to miss someone you love who is no longer here and that every day is not perfect.
3. A record – what I have achieved, where I was, what I have seen, and what I have. I love looking back although sometimes it hurts terribly I know how far I have come from an unbelievable tragedy that broke my world. ❤️ So use Instagram for what makes you happy, follow the things you love, dream of what can be, share with others if you wish and try not to feel like your missing out as no one can do everything or be everywhere. ❤️ #instagram #mentalhealth #inspiration #record
What a beautiful Sunday to explore Kent.
Today we visited the village of Wye, with so many footpaths to choose from it was easy to devise a route.
We parked at the top of the hill ‘The Devil’s Kneading Trough’ where there is parking for approximately 10 cars – parking spaces are marked which I find brilliant as it stops people from taking several spaces. There is also another car park slightly further down the road if this is full.
The view from the top today was beautiful, you could see for miles – we could see a wind farm in the distance.
It is hilly so be prepared if you go down your going to have to come back up!

We use the OS Maps App to track our route.
