Sunday at the Farm

– Moments that they will never forget –

My boys had a great time with their Dad and Grandad today driving the tractor and mowing the orchards. I really cannot believe the two boys are now big enough to drive a Tractor.

I decided to spend my time cleaning and tidying my Dad’s house mainly because he never finds the time to give anything a proper deep clean. But also to give the four of them time together to learn from each other. It was so lovely to hear how much fun they were having together when they kept popping in and out the house to see how I was getting on!

Tankerton Slopes

This week it was the chance for my husband to take us somewhere for a walk. I had no idea when I got in the car where we were going to end up and I was still clueless until the last 5 minutes when he took a turn towards Tankerton.

And it was lovely, I hadn’t walked there in years a perfect morning exploring the beautiful coast of Kent. Although it was windy – great for the offshore wind farm though!

This is a lovely walk for all abilities, with plenty of places to stop and have some food or drink if you wish.

Yr Eifl

It was an awful journey up to Wales last night from Kent – road works and road closures everywhere but being out side exploring today makes up for it.

We use the OS Maps app when we are out and about along with the OS active map – 254 for today. I took the walk from the North Wales and Snowdonia Outstanding Circular Walks pathfinder guide – walk 13 in the book.

Great day out with my boys making memories.

Choices

With my youngest having to make decisions about his GCSE options it’s time for him to choose things he will enjoy and get him on his way to a positive future.

I will support you all my life, I will help guide you in how to get to what you would like to do and don’t forget to always believe in yourself.

Tuesday Thoughts 💭

‘Spend a little more time trying to make something of yourself and a little less time trying to impress people.’ – The Breakfast Club –

I love Instagram and I use it for inspiration, for my mental health and as a record.

1. Inspiration – I love to see other people’s adventures, where they are exploring and what others are up to. I try my best not to feel like I am missing out but to look at what I could do or where I could get to.

2. Mental Health – trying to make myself understand and realise that it’s ok to be sad, it’s ok to miss someone you love who is no longer here and that every day is not perfect.

3. A record – what I have achieved, where I was, what I have seen, and what I have. I love looking back although sometimes it hurts terribly I know how far I have come from an unbelievable tragedy that broke my world. ❤️ So use Instagram for what makes you happy, follow the things you love, dream of what can be, share with others if you wish and try not to feel like your missing out as no one can do everything or be everywhere. ❤️ #instagram #mentalhealth #inspiration #record

Walking in Wye – Kent

What a beautiful Sunday to explore Kent.

Today we visited the village of Wye, with so many footpaths to choose from it was easy to devise a route.

We parked at the top of the hill ‘The Devil’s Kneading Trough’ where there is parking for approximately 10 cars – parking spaces are marked which I find brilliant as it stops people from taking several spaces. There is also another car park slightly further down the road if this is full.

The view from the top today was beautiful, you could see for miles – we could see a wind farm in the distance.

It is hilly so be prepared if you go down your going to have to come back up!

We use the OS Maps App to track our route.
