Time to adapt

It was a challenging day yesterday as my youngest son badly injured his hip and he is not going to be able to play any sports for a while. It’s not until we are unable to do what we normally do that we release how amazing our bodies are. Now we need to concentrate on the recovery and ensure that the balance of normal life is kept whilst not causing any further damage. As a very active family we are going to have to adapt for a while.

Road Trip

Last night we decided to wake up early and go on a road trip for the day to Lulworth Cove in Dorset.

It has been on my list for a long time and I can honestly say I wish we had visited sooner. It’s truly beautiful, a cute British gem by the sea and today it has felt like we were somewhere abroad.

We left in the early hours of the morning to arrive early for parking. We were stuck in traffic for a while on the motorway but when we arrived there was still lots of parking. You are able to pay for parking by cash or card and there were lots of machines to use. There was also a steady flow of cars coming and going so I would say parking should be ok throughout the day.

With a bonus that you can also walk to Durdle Door the natural limestone arch a little further alone the Jurassic Coastline, approximately 1 mile.

We will be going back to explore further again soon.

Royal Ascot

Making memories 💛

Such a wonderful day out, every year we do something slightly different and reminisce over past memories we have made.

Ascot ladies day is normally the third Thursday is June and is an amazing day out. They also have other events throughout the year including the Luna Cinema and the Christmas Family Race Day.
