The Rope Walk

Was a beautiful day in Sandwich today. As I walked along the rope walk this morning my mind in a place of rest and relaxation. And I can tell you it’s been a while since I have felt this relaxed, getting outside really does help you mind release stress.

What is enough?

Just being together is enough.

There is so much pressure on everyone to have material things and whilst we do need some material things what is enough?

I have clothes to wear and a house to live in.

I am lucky to have children, have a car, go on holidays and I have a job.

It’s easy to get carried away with trying to keep up with what the world shows us in images on social media.

I challenge you to take a moment to think about what you would miss the most of it was gone.

For me being together with my family is priceless. The memories of things we have done places we have been make me happier than any new pair or jeans or a car. Everything else I can work out we don’t need the most expensive or newest one out.

Country Life

I love living in the country side so many beautiful things live here.

Some animals are easy to spot others are much shyer but this can make seeing them more magical. And as the evenings grow lighter I will be able to stay out longer exploring the beautiful Kent countryside.

Sunday at the Farm

– Moments that they will never forget –

My boys had a great time with their Dad and Grandad today driving the tractor and mowing the orchards. I really cannot believe the two boys are now big enough to drive a Tractor.

I decided to spend my time cleaning and tidying my Dad’s house mainly because he never finds the time to give anything a proper deep clean. But also to give the four of them time together to learn from each other. It was so lovely to hear how much fun they were having together when they kept popping in and out the house to see how I was getting on!

Tankerton Slopes

This week it was the chance for my husband to take us somewhere for a walk. I had no idea when I got in the car where we were going to end up and I was still clueless until the last 5 minutes when he took a turn towards Tankerton.

And it was lovely, I hadn’t walked there in years a perfect morning exploring the beautiful coast of Kent. Although it was windy – great for the offshore wind farm though!

This is a lovely walk for all abilities, with plenty of places to stop and have some food or drink if you wish.
